I am a storyteller before I am a dealer. Some of these pieces have documented histories. Some have only what a previous owner told us. Some keep their secrets. What we know, we say. What we do not know, we say too - plainly, beside every piece.

Sculpture

Substantial equestrian sculpture with a rich brown finish, green patina accents, detailed reins and riding crop, on a textured oval base with a green marbled look. It bears a “P.J. MENE” signature and is offered as after Pierre-Jules Mêne.

A striking black-and-white print: a fantastical rocky island of ruined arches, stairways and towers, with a hot-air balloon drifting offshore. Very Piranesi in feel. Pencil inscriptions below the image give the Cyrillic title and edition 9/20, along with a signature and a date that reads as 1986 - the date is unverified. Framed under glass in a simple black frame with a warm gray mat, ready to hang.

Vintage fur

A vintage rabbit fur coat in a rich auburn tone with a warm red satin lining - soft, full and dramatic. The story passed down with it: a wedding gift from a husband's aunt, carefully stored and largely unworn for decades by its long-time owner, believed to date to the 1920s-1930s.
